Showcase Page is a dedicated page where you can present multiple collections in one place. Instead of sharing multiple links, you can now share a single branded page that represents your full learning offering.

This page helps your learners browse, compare, and choose the right program instantly, which means more clarity for them and more conversions for you.

You can use the Showcase Page if you:

  • Offer more than one collection or learning path
  • Want a storefront for your education brand
  • Want a simple link for social media, paid ads, and website buttons
  • Want to improve conversions by reducing navigation steps

How to Create Your Showcase Page

Go to your Mini Course Generator dashboard and click Collections in the top navigation.

Dashboard interface showing Mini Course Generator home page. The top navigation includes buttons for Home, Mini courses, and Collections. The page greets the user with “Hi, Eren” and displays recently created mini courses as card thumbnails. A knowledge base panel and product updates panel appear on the right side. A red arrow points to the Collections tab in the navigation.

Click Edit showcase page above your collection list.

Collections dashboard screen inside Mini Course Generator. A banner at the top allows users to showcase multiple collections on one page with an “Edit showcase page” button highlighted by a red arrow. Below, several collection cards are displayed in a grid, showing mini course counts, titles, and access status.

Pick a preset or click Edit landing page to customize the layout, branding, and copy.

Showcase landing page editor inside Mini Course Generator. Preset design themes are shown at the top with an “Apply this preset” button highlighted by a red arrow. A landing page preview appears below, with an “Edit landing page” button highlighted on the right. The preview includes a hero section with the text “Showcase Collection” and a call to action.

Add your collections to your Showcase Page

To add your collections to your showcase page, click Edit landing page button.

Select Index from the right drag-and-drop panel and drag a Collection List block onto your page.

Page editor showing the landing page builder. A video block is visible at the top, followed by a content placeholder area labeled “Ready to Get Started?” with instructions to drag or double-click a content block. A red arrow points to the empty content drop zone. Another red arrow points to the right side panel where collection list blocks can be added.

Click Add collections and select the collections to display.

💡 Hint: You can add multiple Collection List blocks to your Showcase Page. This lets you group collections, for example: Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced.

Modal titled “Add Collection” showing a dropdown list of collection names that can be selected to add to the landing page. Collections include stripe-1, opt-in, Compliance Training, new, and paid.

Can I Use Widgets If My Collection is Gated?

Yes, you can use widgets for gated collections, if the learner access method is set to either Email Verification or Specific Learners.

How Does It Work?

When you use widget for a gated collection using one of these access methods, your learners will be prompted to enter their email address. After submitting their email, they will receive a verification code. Once they enter the correct code, they will be able to access and experience your course content directly on your website, without being redirected elsewhere.

This ensures that access to your collection is restricted only to verified users, while still providing a seamless experience within your own site or product.

Important Note About Pay-Wall Gateways

Currently, pay-wall gateways (such as Stripe or Lemon Squezzy) are not fully compatible with Widgets. This is because payment gateways require learners to complete the payment process on an external site, which means they will be redirected away from your website to finalize their purchase. As a result, the widget experience is interrupted.

If you require payment before access, we recommend linking to your course or collection directly instead of using with widgets, so that the payment and access flow remains smooth for your learners.

Simply put, collections are groups of mini-courses. All mini-courses have to belong to a collection. A collection can include as many mini-courses as you’d like. Collections enable your content to be shared with your learners in bundle forms, and help you organize your dashboard.

You can see all your collections in the Collections panel. Click on “New Collection” to create a collection.

Name your collection in the next pop-up.

You can change the order of your collections simply by dragging and dropping them. You can create a mini-course in your brand new collection by clicking on “Create a Mini-Course”.

👀If you have used one of our template mini-courses and have the “Templates” collection, this collection is pinned at the very top at all times.

On top right of your collection cover image, click on Update Cover to upload an image from your device and update your collection cover image.

You can add a logo to your collection, rename it by clicking on its name, preview it by clicking on “View” and get the share link or embed code of the collection by clicking on “Share” button. If you’d like to delete the collection, click on the dots menu and delete your collection. This action also deletes all mini-courses in the collection and is irreversible.

Note: To change the collection of a mini-course, click on the dots menu and choose “Move to”. Then, choose the new collection to carry your mini-course into.

In the Overview tab of your collection:

  • you can turn on “Learners can proceed only sequentially” setting for your collection. When this is turned on, learners have to start your collection from its first mini-course and proceed sequentially to the last one to complete the collection. If this setting is turned off, learners can start from any mini-course in the collection.
  • you can make changes on the looks of your collection landing page. Check Customizing the Landing Page for details.

In the Learners’ Access tab of your collection, you can choose how your learners will access your collection. Check all restriction settings and choose which suits your collection the best. Check here to find more information about Learners’ Access settings.

Under the Custom Domain tab, you can use our custom domain feature to customize the share link of your collection/mini-course. Here’s how to Customize Links with Custom Domain (CNAME).

You can give certificates according to collection completion or being above a success threshold on collection completion. Use the Certification tab to create a certificate. Check Certification for detailed instructions.

Note: The default card layout includes a “related mini-courses” section, which shows other mini-courses in the same collection, at the end of each mini-course. If you’d like to hide this section, you can use second, third or fourth card layout.

You’ve created amazing mini-courses, organized them in a collection, and customized the collection to provide an attractive micro-learning journey for your learners. Now it’s time to track your learners, analyze their data and conduct assessment.

The analytics tab allows you to see important data about your learners’ journey specific to the collection. You can choose to see data for all mini-courses in the collection, or see data for each mini-course in the collection specifically.

See below the details of each data:

  • Eligible learners show the number of learners who are allowed access to the collection.
  • Engaged learners show the number of learners who interacted with the content by completing at least one card.
  • Learners who completed show the number of learners who completed the entire content.
  • Learners with badges show the number of learners who earned a badge.
  • Learners with certificates show the number of learners who earned a certificate.
  • Average success score is the arithmetic mean of success scores of all learners.

Note: Collection success score is the arithmetic mean of mini-course success scores of an individual learner.

Note: Mini course success score is the percentage of correct answers given to all quiz questions in a mini-course. If there aren’t any quiz questions in the mini-course, success rate of learner is always 100%.

To individually analyze each learner, click on download full report. In the report, you can find:

  • full name and email address of a learner (if the collection access setting is everyone can access, you will find a generated User Name ID instead),
  • details of at what date and when the learner started a specific mini-course in the collection and when they completed the mini-course,
  • their progress and score,
  • certificate ID URL and badge ID URL if applicable,
  • team (learner group) name.

In addition to collection-wide analytics, you can get an analytics report for an individual mini-course as well. Visit our Analytics of a Single Mini-Course article to learn more.

Certificates are a powerful tool to enhance your learners’ experience. By increasing motivation and participation, certificates can increase engagement in your learner community, making your mini-courses more impactful and rewarding.

With Mini Course Generator, setting up certificates is quick and easy, allowing you to effortlessly reward your learners with a sense of accomplishment.

Let’s see how.

How to set up certificates?

On your collection, go to Certification tab and create a certificate.

Now that you created a certificate, learners that complete this collection will earn a certificate.

Two options are available to reward learners, completion certificate or success certificate.

  • If you’d like to reward every learner that completes the collection, choose Completion Certificate.
  • If you’d like to set a specific success threshold and reward only the learners above the success threshold, choose Success Certificate and set a success rate.

💡 Success rate of a collection is sum of mini-course scores divided by the mini course number. Mini-course score is the percentage of correct answers given to all quiz questions in a mini-course. If there aren’t any quiz questions in the mini-course, score of learner is always 100%.

Customize the Certificate

Now that we’ve decided who gets a certificate when, let’s design what we’d like to share with our learners.

Click on change template to see all of our available templates and choose one.

Create Template

If you prefer, you can create your own certificates from scratch instead of using our pre-defined templates.

To customize your certificate, click Create Template button, remove the background image and upload your own design from Source.

ℹ You can create your certificate in Canva or any other design tool you prefer.

You have the flexibility to add new text blocks as required. You can also remove all existing text blocks and dynamic attributes.

You can modify the style of your text blocks, including adjusting the size, font, and color. Text can be formatted as bold, italic, or underlined. Additionally, you can change the alignment of the text blocks.

You can use four dynamic attributes: Collection name, Recipient name (Learner name), Certificate ID, and the date the certificate was issued.

You can also choose a certificate you’re using for another collection. To do this, find the desired certificate under “My Designs” when you click on change template.

Note: Certificates work collection-based. If you’d like to give certificates for a single mini-course, it has to be the only mini-course in its collection.

Note: If your collection’s Learners’ Access setting is everyone can access, as there isn’t a login barrier, the learner name doesn’t get collected. Therefore, your certificates {recipient.name} attribute, which is learner name and surname, will be empty at all times.

You can also customize the message displayed when the certificate is earned. The Customize Message area is an HTML editor in which you can embed media, upload images, add a hyperlink and format your text the way you’d like.

Check here for details on how to embed media.

Nice! Our certificate is ready to go. Let’s see how it looks.

Certificates come with a unique Credential ID and a URL for easy validation. Additionally, they are easily shareable on social media, allowing learners to showcase their achievements with ease. For added flexibility, certificates can be downloaded as JPG files, making them accessible for both online and offline use.

If you have a custom domain set up for your collection, your learners’ credential url will be in line with your custom domain. Click here for further details on custom domains.

Creating a certificate for your collection is quick, simple and takes only a few minutes. Your learners are driven by the promise of recognition, knowing their achievements will be rewarded with a certificate. Plus, the certificates can be shared online effortlessly, offering a great opportunity to enlarge your learner community!

Frequently Asked Questions

How Can I Give Certification at the End of a Mini Course?

If you want to award a certificate at the end of a specific mini course, you can do so by creating a new collection and placing only that mini course inside it.

If your collection has only one mini course, the certificate will be given as soon as the mini course is finished.

💡 To make sure learners don’t see your other mini courses, turn on the Hide related mini courses option in the general tab of your collection’s settings. This will keep the focus on the single mini course in the collection.

You can share your collection with your learners using a link. To get that link, click on “Share” on your collection panel and copy the share link.

When you open “Share” menu, you can see the share link of the collection. If you want to display the social sharing button on your collection, make sure that the related option is activated.

When you activate this option, your share link is modified to display the following button on your collection. Hence, your learners can share your collection on their social media more easily and faster.

After copying the share link of your collection, you can share it with your learners.

For learners that don’t complete your content in one sitting, or those who would like to revisit, it is best to share the access link where members of your community can reach repeatedly.

Suppose that you’re a life-coach, and you use a Discord server for your community. Or, you manage an Instagram account. With such use-cases, pinning the share link somewhere learners can access easily again and again would be useful.

Note: When you click on the “View” button on your collection, it actually opens the collection with its share link in a new tab on your browser. You can share your collection by copying that link, too; however, that link will not show social sharing buttons.

Note: If you own a domain, you can customize this share link by adding a custom domain to your account. For detailed information, click here.
