Learn how to sell courses with Mini Course Generator. Set up payments, branding, landing pages, and SEO to start earning fast.

Mini Course Generator is the fastest way to turn your knowledge into income.

With just a few simple steps, you can publish your courses, connect payments, and start selling immediately.

This guide will walk you through everything you need to know to get started.

Step 1: Create a Collection

If you already have courses created, the first step is to organize them inside a collection.

💡 If you have not created your courses yet, check out AI Course Builder. It helps you build complete, structured courses with AI in just minutes.

A collection acts as your sales hub. It is where all payments, learner access, and course management happen.

  • If you want to sell a single course, simply put that course inside a new collection.
  • If you have multiple courses, you can bundle them together into one collection to sell them as a package.

Step 2: Set Up the Paywall

Once you created your collection, the next step is adding a paywall. This is how you enable payments.

We support three payment providers directly:

  • Stripe
  • Lemon Squezzy
  • Pabbly

You can integrate other payments tool using automation tools like Zapier or Make. We have comprehensive articles for both connecting Shopify and Paypal.

⚡ For the best experience & seamless setup, we suggest using Stripe.

  • If you do not have a Stripe account, first create a business account.
  • Then, follow the steps in our Stripe connection guide to link it to your collection.

💡 You can set prices, create discount coupons and manage all payment settings directly from your Stripe dashboard.

✅ And the best part: MCG takes 0% fees from your sales. Everything you earn is yours.

Step 3: White-Label Your Brand

Branding is essential for building trust and selling courses successfully. With MCG, you can fully white-label your course business.

You can customize:

Step 4: Customize Your Landing Page

Your landing page is the first impression your learners will get, and it plays a big role in sales.

MCG makes it easy to design a landing page that looks professional and matches your brand:

  • Use the drag-and-drop editor (the same one you used to create your courses).
  • Add your own text, images, colors and layout.
  • Highlight the benefits of your course and make it easy for learners to buy.

A strong landing page can make the difference between a visitor leaving and a learning enrolling.

Here is the related guide to customizing your landing page.

Step 5: Customize Your SEO Settings

To attract learners through search engines, you can optimize your SEO settings directly from the landing page settings of your collection.

  • Add a SEO description that clearly explains what your course or collection is about.
  • Include keywords that your learners are likely to search for.

💡 If you created your course with AI, these fields will be automatically filled for you. You can still edit them anytime to refine your visibility.

Ready to Sell

That’s it!

Once you’ve created your collection, set up payments, applied your branding, customized your landing page, and optimized your SEO settings, you are ready to go.

Now, you can share your course link anywhere – on your website, social media, or email – and start getting paid.

FAQ: Frequently Asked Questions

1. Can I sell a single course without showing the collection landing page?

Yes. Still you need to place your course inside a collection and set up a paywall. Then, share the course link instead of the collection link. This way, buyers will skip the collection page and land directly on your course page.

2. Can I offer free and paid courses in the same collection?

You cannot directly offer both free and paid courses in the same collection. However, there is a workaround. You can create a separate mini-course that is not connected to any collection. At the end of this free mini-course, you can add a link to your paid collection. Share the free course link with your audience. This way, they can access the free course first and then see your paid collection when they finish.

✅ With Mini Course Generator, you can go from idea to selling in less than an hour.

Thanks to White label emailing, you can send your invitation and verification emails from your own domain, rather than no-reply@minicoursegenerator.com.

This allows your emails to reflect your brand and identity, appearing as if they originate directly from you.

We offer integration with three different third-party platforms for this configuration: SendGrid, MailChimp, and MailerSend.

Below, you can find articles from third-party platforms that offer additional information about the configuration process.

We use SendGrid for demonstration purposes on the article.

ℹ SendGrid is free for two months and allows you to send up to 100 emails per day: https://sendgrid.com/en-us/pricing

Step 1: Connect your domain to SendGrid

Go to app.sendgrid.com and create an account. After that, navigate to Sender Authentication in the settings.

Scroll down to the Link Branding section. Then, click the Get Started button.

Select your DNS host from the list.

ℹ You can select Other if your domain provider isn’t listed.

Enter the domain you want to use for white labeling your emails. For example: minicoursegenerator.com

ℹ Ensure that you only enter the root domain name. Do not include www or http://www in this field.

Add all of the CNAME records to your DNS host’s settings.

ℹ The process varies depending on your specific DNS host. Consult your host’s documentation for detailed instructions on managing their interface.

Step 2: Get your API Key and bring to Mini Course Generator

Navigate to API Keys in the settings and click the Create API Key button.

Give your API Key a name and copy it.

Navigate to the Settings for your collection on your Mini Course Generator. Then, go to the White label email tab and activate it.

💡 You can configure white label email for multiple collections using the same API Key and domain.

⚠ If you activate white label email functionality without proper configuration, invitation and verification emails will not be sent to your learners.

You must either deactivate or configure it correctly for emails to be delivered.

Paste your API Key, and then specify your Sending domain and Sender name. Finally, click the Save Settings button.

ℹ Sending domain should include the domain you connected with SendGrid.

🎊 Congrats, you’ve successfully configured your white label email.

From now on, all your invitation and verification emails will be sent from your Sending domain.

Once they enter the correct code, they will be able to access and experience your course content directly on your website, without being redirected elsewhere.

This ensures that access to your collection is restricted only to verified users, while still providing a seamless experience within your own site or product.

Important Note About Pay-Wall Gateways

Currently, pay-wall gateways (such as Stripe or Lemon Squezzy) are not fully compatible with Widgets. This is because payment gateways require learners to complete the payment process on an external site, which means they will be redirected away from your website to finalize their purchase. As a result, the widget experience is interrupted.

If you require payment before access, we recommend linking to your course or collection directly instead of using with widgets, so that the payment and access flow remains smooth for your learners.

Creating a gated course provides you with complete control over who accesses your course while offering multiple access method for your specific needs.

These gateway options are:

Below you can find the learner experience for each access method. To configure these access methods for your course, please refer to the links above for detailed instructions on each option.

Double opt-in Access

When a learner reaches your course, they are presented with an authentication form where they provide their name and email address.

Our system immediately sends a verification code to the email address provided. Learners must enter this code on the screen they are redirected to after submitting their email.

Once the code is validated, the learner is granted immediate access to the course.

This process typically takes just a few minutes and does not require any payment or special authorization from you as the course creator.

Payment Gateway

The payment gateway turns your course into a premium product, allowing you to generate revenue while ensuring that only committed learners gain access.

When a learner visits your course, they begin by providing their email address, just like in the double opt-in method. However, instead of receiving a verification code, they receive a personalized payment link via email.

By clicking the payment link, learners are redirected to a payment screen where they can complete their purchase using their preferred payment method. Once the payment is successful, learners receive immediate access to the course content.

If a paying learner loses access by switching browsers or devices, they can verify their payment status by requesting an access code on the interface. This ensures that legitimate paying customers never lose access to the content they have purchased.

Specific Learner Access

To give access to your learners using this method, you need to add the learner’s email address to your learner list, either manually or by importing a CSV file.

Once the email address has been added, simply click the “Send Email” button in the admin interface. This will prompt the system to send a personalized email with a magic link directly to the specified learner.

If the learner loses access by switching browsers or devices, they can request an access code when trying to access the course. This ensures that your designated learners never lose access to the content.

FAQ: Can someone other than my learner access my course?

No, unauthorized access to your gated course is prevented through several security measures built by Mini Course Generator. All access methods contains single-use authentication tokens cannot be reused.

Verification codes, payment links and magic links are uniquely generated for each specific email address and automatically expire after one use.

This means that even if someone were to obtain an access link or code, it would only work once for the intended recipient and cannot be used by anyone else.
